This newest Center Spotlight is dedicated to Carr Workplaces Bethesda, which is conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Bethesda, Maryland. “We also have Touchdown Desks and Dedicated Desks in our shared coworking space, which are great permanent options for those who enjoy working in shared spaces,” he said.

Touchdown Desks and Dedicated Desks are the perfect choice if you or your team members want to work in a social environment in a physical office space but don’t necessarily need the privacy of private offices.

Another popular workspace option at our Bethesda location is Virtual Offices. Virtual Offices are ideal for fully-remote and hybrid teams.

“Many of our Virtual Office clients or day trippers will request meeting and conference rooms as well,” Celina explained. “Our meeting and conference rooms are used for video calls, bi-weekly meetings, and many other types of meetings.”

“Our largest meeting room, the Crescent Meeting Room, includes wireless connectivity and video conferencing so that you’re able to use the camera and technology in that room,” he said. “We’re hoping to expand that connectivity to our other meeting rooms soon.”

Beverage service and catering may be added to any meeting and conference room bookings for added convenience.

“Here, we go out of our way to make sure that guests are taken care of and that they feel welcome,” he said. “We offer guests complimentary tea, coffee, and water and answer any questions they have. Our front desk is always staffed with a friendly face and that really differentiates us from our coworking centers.” 

Our on-site team can send and receive mail and packages on behalf of your business, meet and greet guests, and walk them to your office(s). Team members also can print, scan, or fax documents and provide support on projects as well.

“For Valentine’s Day, our networking event included heart-shaped pizzas and punch,” Celina said. “Our networking events are a great opportunity for our Virtual Office, private office, and shared office folks to just gather in the café and catch up.”

“Every third Thursday, we also partner with one of our clients for a wine and beer tasting,” said Celina. “We partner with them to provide a charcuterie board and different types of wines and beers. It’s another opportunity for clients to engage.”

Celina shared that Cookie Fridays have become a regular occurrence at the Bethesda center as well. 

“Every Friday, we bake fresh cookies,” Celina shared. “People actually will come into the coworking center specifically for those cookies. It definitely gets people out of their offices and interacting with each other.”
